Hervana by Benefit
The packaging is really nice, it has a little mirror inside ad a magnet that keeps the lid closed. It comes with a little angled brush, which is really good for applying the product, it picks up just the right amount and the point of the brush allows you to be more precise about the "section" of the product you want to pick up.
The way it's designed inside allows you to decide how pink or peachy you like it to be, and how much shimmer to pick up. It may seem like it has a lot of glitter in from the picture, but it does not, as I said before, it sheer not shimmery in any way!
I love the color of this blush, it's the exact colour I'd imagin an angel having on the cheeks! it wear beautifully on the skin, last a long time and the amount of product you get for €30 is pretty good. It' slightly scented but it does not clog pores on give me any type of skin problems. I adore this powder and totally recomment it, I think it's a product really worth having in you makeup collection!
hope this was helpful!

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart
There was a lot of hype about these new lipsticks that Revlon has brought out this spring, also because they retailed at $7 in the USA, so when I saw them at my locale shop I couldn't resist picking one up. I almost fainted when the lady told me the price... 21euros for one little Revlon lipstick! I believe that it's not really great value for money (if you think that Chanel Rouge Coco Shine are only 7 euros more). Still I was there and after just a second of hesitation I bought it. I really like the color and the texture, I thought it was going to be a lot sheerer but it's actually quite pigmented.
This lip butters really melt on the lips and glide on beautifully, even on my chapped dry lips. They last a long time on, even though I would not call them moisturizing I still find them nice to wear and keep on throughout the day. I don't really think they're worth 21 euros though! but if you are in the US definitely give them a try!
hope this was helpful!

Makeup Wishlist! PINK!!
-Chanel Vitalumiere Hydra foundation, €47, I know it's out in the USA and I really hope it'll come out soon in Europe too!
-Christian Dior eyeshadow, €50, my favourite eyeshadows ever! I just love the pigmantationa nd the wear you get out of these shadows, nothing beats them!
-Benefit Cosmetics They're Real mascara, €24 see review here
-Chanel Horizon blush, €50 is beautifel on the skin, and gives it a natural radiance that a powder product can rarely achieve (too bad it was sold out at my sephora)
-Clinique lip treatment, $16 a must have! love love love this product, the colour range is fantastic and the moisture it gives to the skin incredible!
-Becca Cosmetics Shimmering skinperfector, €50, is a product Lisa Eldridge often uses in her youtube videos and I love it (needless to say Becca is not available in Italy)
-Christian Dior nail polish, $23, any pink polishe will do I just love the colour of this particular polish, but sometimes I find that with nailpolishes the cheaper they are the longer they last...

Benefit ooh la lift
Benefit is a trust worthy brand that I've
only recently discovered, since Sephora in my city has started carrying
it only about a year ago. Since then I’ve only tried their They’re real
mascara, but yesterday I was out with my mum helping her find a nice under-eye
concealer. My mum suffers from fluid retention and dark bags under her eyes,
and she used to swear by YSL touché éclat, but yesterday she was looking for
something that treated and lifted her bags… and that’s where we found this
amazing product that WOWed us right away: Benefit ooh la lift!
It claims to be an “instant under-eye
brightening boost”, and I could not find better words to describe it. As soon
as the lady at Sephora applied it on my mum her bags looked significantly
reduced, the skin seemed tighter and brighter (even though I find the only shade
available a bit too light). The lift it gives to the under-eye area is
unbelievable and the raspberry extract contained has astringent and anti-oxidant
properties! I wouldn’t put it in the concealer category but as a product to use
before applying you corrector or concealer!
(FYI my mum has very sensitive eyes and
this product hasn’t caused her any problem so far, and she wore it the whole
day yesterday and today to really give it a good try)
hope this was helpful for all of you who struggle with under-eye bags issues!

Chanel Lèvres Scintillantes Lip Gloss
Recently I recived from my lovely boyfriend a very appreciated present: Chanel lèvres scintillantes in the color 146 coral love.
I love these glosses, I think they're perfect for the evening, they add light and luminosity to the whole face, plus they're not too sticky nor too liquidy. They wear beautifully and last a really long time on the lips, I love to wear it on itself or over my Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipstick in boy, I think they're the perfect duo in my book.
I think this is a fantastic gift idea, and something every girl would love to have in her makeup bad during a night out!
hope this was helpful!

IN & OUT
I'm back! :) now that the worst month of
my life is over I can go back to having a life and blogging!! I can't believe
how much I've missed it! Here we go with one of my favourite type of posts
"In&out".
IN
-HAPPYNESS, this is the feeling pervading
my last few days..
-Spring and nice weather!!! I’m really glad
that the sun is shining again and flowers are blossoming...
-Starting a new semester, new teachers, new
exams, new people, a new experience!
-Rouge Coco shine lipsticks, perfect for
this time of the year! I just purchased my first one and it’s easy to wear on a
daily basis, it blends beautifully on the lips and provides moisture to them as
well! FANTASTIC!
-This new pink mania going around really
got to me! I love pink eyeshadows, specially on brown eyes, and everything from
blush to lipstick seems to have gone very pink this season… love it! (I’m on
the lookout for some nice pink eyeshadows, hopefully I’ll fins some soon!)
OUT
-I still need to finish my exams even
though the semester is over, but Tuesday will be the day I’ll free myself from
all this stress!
-Not going to New York because of this
stupid exam! I really don’t like teachers who can’t organize their schedule!
when I saw this picture on Fb I couldn't help laughing, that's soo me right now! |
